The Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) enthusiastically supports the development and promotion of the Super Kid ... Involved and Informed Parent (SKIIP) Program as a valuable and reliable resource for families, teachers and caregivers.
The strength of SKIPP derives from the initiative of the experienced, knowledgeable and devoted family members and educators who have founded the program, to share the wealth of information learned and researched through their personal journey and study over many years.
The ODMH is invested in collaboration among mental health, families and schools. This growing collaboration has developed through state and local partnerships and commitments to innovative approaches to enhance the academic achievement of children and youth in supportive school and community environments. SKIIP reinforces this direction in providing a valuable tool for families, teachers and caregivers who are in profound need of information, resources and HOPE in addressing children's health issues.
ODMH intends to actively share information about SKIIP with our federal, state and local partners. We feel assured that community-based customers of the program will experience substantial benefits from promotion of this informative and supportive website in their homes, schools and neighborhoods.
